On the way home I pass the gallery,
the paradise where my heroes live.
In the window, a photo of Peggy.

She reminds me of my own Peggy
my first great love from the second floor on the left.
The street was rebuilt, we lost sight of each other.

Things ended badly for the Peggy in the photo.
But my Peggy is somewhere in this world
and I know she is happy.
